Roadwork is going to be done on Elwood St and 7th from 5/4 - 5/15. Parents will need to come down 5th street and Broadway in order to get to the back lot.

Send a favorite snack to keep energy up during the day.

🌸 Thursday – Flower Power
A flower, plant, or handmade craft to add cheer to the classroom.

💌 Friday – Gratitude Gift
A small gift card or thoughtful token to say thank you for all they do!

6th–8th graders are invited to our Glow in the Dark Dance!

🎟️ $3 ticket (includes entry& nachos)

Neon Attire is encouraged!

As we celebrate this special milestone, students are expected to dress to impress for promotion. Please ensure attire is school appropriate, including no tube tops or crop tops.

🎈 Please do not bring balloons, as they can block the view for other families.

🛼 4th, 7th & 8th Grade Field Trip to Skateland! 🛼

Our 4th, 7th, and 8th grade students are rolling out for a fun field trip to Skateland! Eligible students will enjoy an exciting day of skating and memories with friends.

Dress Code for Eligible Students:

Uniform pants, athletic bottoms, or joggers

Socks (required for skating)

Chavez T-shirt or uniform shirt

🎉 Bonus! Our brand new Chavez shirts will be passed out for students to wear on the trip.

Get ready to lace up those skates and roll into a great day!

Students will be taking their final reading assessment of the year! This important test measures the growth they’ve made all the way from August to May and shows just how much they’ve learned.

We encourage all students to do their very best, take their time, and try their hardest. A good night’s sleep, a positive attitude, and focused effort will help them shine!

Let’s finish the year strong and show how far our readers have come! 💪✨

Students enrolled in Read Better, Be Better will attend after school from 3:30–5:00 PM in the library. Please pick up your child promptly at 5:00 PM in the front parking lot. Thank you for supporting strong reading skills! 📖✨
